Meike MK-320 for Canon

$88.99

Running on two AA batteries, the MK320 has e-TTL and manual control, an optical slave, an LED lamp and probably the smallest tilt/swivel flash head on the market. The MeiKe MK-320 is a very nice little flash that would do nicely in the hot-shoe of many DSLR cameras. It feels balanced, is easy to use and can be used for direct TTL or bounce flash.

As a walk-around flash for amateur photography and social events, you really cannot go far wrong with the MK-320. If you are looking for a compact flash unit for a small camera then Meike MK-320 mini flash is the one we would recommend to nearly everyone.

Meike MK-320 for Canon cameras | TTL Mini Flash Speedlite

Meike MK-320 for Canon is a fully featured e-TTL (II) enabled mini flash speedlite for Canon DSLR cameras. It is packed with an array of features including TTL, Manual, and Stroboscopic modes, second curtain sync, optical slave modes… It has a guide number of 32 which is very high for the speedlite of such a small size. Build quality of the flash is much better than you would expect from the flash speedlite of this price tag.

Meike MK-320 is fully compatible with Canon eTTL II metering. It features a powerful guide number of 32m (ISO 100, 105mm). Bounce lighting is also possible with tilt from -7 to 90° and rotation left 60° and right 90°. The MK-320 TTL exposures are very good and quite consistent, bounced or direct. Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) adjustments are working as they should

MK-320 has a recycle time of about 5 seconds and supports 1st and 2nd curtain synchronization settings. Also, it supports a multi flash stroboscopic mode for multiple flashes during a single exposure. It runs on 2 AA batteries and comes with a mini stand and protection case.

The first thing that strikes you about the MeiKe Speedlite MK-320 and indeed its primary selling point is its small size. Unlike most flashguns the MK-320 runs on two AA batteries rather than four, allowing the manufacturer to cut down the dimensions considerably. With batteries, the unit weighs just 200 grams. MeiKe MK320 is one of the only flashes that feels balanced on any DSLR camera.

Meike MK-320 is a small flash of good build quality. It features one game-changer feature that can not be seen anywhere else: USB charging. The MeiKe MK-320 has a micro USB port and you can use it with any 5V, 1A power supply to charge your pair of AA batteries while they are inside the flash. Imagine the saving in weight and space this affords you if packing for a trip somewhere: no AA charger and no spare batteries; just a micro-USB cable that you were probably bringing anyway to charge your smartphone.

The MK-320 is the first flash in this line to have tilt and swivel, which is unusual for a flash so small. The Canon 270EX II, upon which the design is clearly based, has a tilting head but does not swivel and otherwise has much more limited controls and generally an inferior list of features. The addition of vertical and horizontal rotation means you can use this flash bounced off walls and ceilings, greatly improving the potential quality of images you can create with it mounted on-camera.

The light spread from the MK-320 is smooth and even, without an overly-bright hotspot in the center or any unusual patterns produced from the fresnel. The MeiKe MK320 has a fixed beam angle, equivalent to a 24mm focal length on full frame
