Yongnuo YN14EX II TTL Macro Ring Flash Kit for Canon
Yongnuo YN14EX II TTL Macro Ring Flash Kit is the second generation of Yongnuo’s best selling macro ring flash YN14EX. It is designed for use with Canon cameras and macro lenses for close-up photography. It’s twin tube design allows each flash tube to fire independently, or simultaneously to provide a combined guide number of 59′ at ISO 100.
Yongnuo YN14EX II comes with four professional color temperatures filters (white, red, fluorescent green and warm yellow). These filters are magnetic so you can easily put them in place and remove them after use. The mark II version of YN14EX has undergone significant changes compared to the first version. The ring light kept the original circular shape, but the glass is different. Also The new YN14EX II has a lot of AF Assist lamps compared to the first model to help camera acquire focus easier.
The new YN14EX II is designed for photographers who require a lightweight solution for soft, detailed, wrap-around lighting for close-up work. The kit includes the E-TTL / E-TTL II-compatible, shoe-mount control unit and a ring flash with 52, 58, 67, and 72 mm lens adapter rings. Four snap-on CT filters are provided for fine-tuning the flash’s 5600K output, while a carry bag is included for storage and transport.
An illuminated dot-matrix LCD screen lets you make adjustments to the flash in both bright- and low-light situations. The ring flash can be powered by 4x AA batteries or an optional external battery pack. The unit is compatible with all Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Yongnuo, Tokina macro lenses thanks to the provided lens adapter rings. Yongnuo YN14EX II is very popular choice for dental photography.
