Yongnuo YN360 5500K LED Light Wand

Yongnuo YN360 5500K LED Light wand is Yongnuo’s ultra popular LED Wand. It is a direct replacement for Westcott Ice light 2 offering very comparable performance at much lower price tag. It is clearly brighter than Ice Light and also brighter than Yongnuo YN360 3200-5500K model. The first version of YN360 consists of both 3200K LEDs and 5500K LEDs, while this 2nd version features only 5500K LEDs, as well as RGB SMD lamps. Because of that it is more powerful than 1st version but you lose the ability to set color temperature in the 3200-5500K range. If you need 3200K setting you have to put orange filter over LEDs (orange filter is included in the package).

This compact unit features two output modes. The first mode provides 5500K output and offers two dimming modes (rough and fine). The second mode allows you to control the 40 RGB LEDs, adjusting the balance of the red, blue, and green LEDs

Yongnuo YN360 LED light wand is described as an industry first LED video light made from full color RGB SMD lamps, as well as LED lamp beads.

Yongnuo YN360 5500K is formed by:

• 40 full color RGB SMD lamps
• 320 LED lamp beads with 5500k color temperature

In Full Color RGB Mode the YN360’s 40 RGB SMD lamps can provide rich colors of red, green, and blue. Colors can then be adjusted remotely through a smart phone APP, either by selecting from a provided color pallet, or adjusting manually to create your own preferred colors.

In 5500K Color Temp Mode the YN360’s 320 LED lamp beads produce very strong light output. In this mode Yongnuo claims a Color Rendering Index of 95% or higher.

Luminance levels can be controlled directly on the YN360’s interface itself, or again remotely through a smartphone application.

The YN360 adopts Yongnuo’s proprietary LED driving technology, and encoder digital dimming mode, allowing the light to be dimmed accurately and reliably.

YN360’s are powered by standard Sony NP-F style rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries.

NP-F750 batteries (not included) are recommended, and provide:

• 2 hours at maximum brightness in 5500K Color Temp Mode
• 4 hours at maximum brightness in RGB Full Color Mode.

The YN360 also provides socket for a DC power adapter (8 V 5 A). AC adapter it not included in standard package and can be bought separately.

A standard 1/4″ 20 threaded mounting hole is provided at the base of the YN360’s handle.

The YN360’s light board is approximately 39.5 cm long, and 4.8 cm wide.

YN360 also provides an 8 channel grouping function.
